Delete Your Account

You can delete your SleepQ account and associated data at any time. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Delete From the App (Recommended)

  1. Open SleepQ and go to the Profile tab
  2. Tap Delete Account
  3. Confirm deletion

Your account is deleted immediately, and associated SleepQ data is removed from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

2. Can't Access the App?

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email support@sleepq.app with the subject "Account deletion request", sending from the email address linked to your account — your Apple ID on iPhone, or your Google account on Android. We will verify your request and delete your account, usually within 1–2 business days.

SleepQ can be used without ever creating a sign-in, so if you never linked an Apple or Google account we have no email on file and cannot identify your account from an email alone. In that case, delete it from the app using the steps above — or, if the app is already uninstalled, reinstall it and delete from Profile, since your account stays tied to that device.

3. What Gets Deleted

  • Your SleepQ account, whether it was created anonymously or linked to Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in
  • The copy of your sleep and health data held by SleepQ
  • Your AI Sleep Coach conversation history and check-ins
  • Your preferences and experiment history

The health data on your own device is not affected — not in Apple Health on iPhone, and not in Health Connect on Android. SleepQ has read-only access and only deletes the copy we hold; the data on your device stays under your control.

4. Subscriptions Are Managed by Apple and Google

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the app store you bought them from, so cancel there first.

  • iPhone: open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, select SleepQ, and tap Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select SleepQ, and tap Cancel subscription.
